Dog Draught (draft) work has been used since ancient times. Dogs have been used to pull plows, haul milk carts, pull sulkies carrying people, and more. It is a fun way to excercise your dog, and the dogs love having a job. There are many different forms of dog draught work.
Carting: For this dog(s) pulls a two wheeled cart containing groceries, children, etc. This skill is a lot of fun for both you and the dog(s) and it can be quite useful. It is also excellent training for the dog. Carting is also nice as even little dogs can do it.
Colina and Rollin
Draught: (Draught is pronounced draft) Draughting is where dog(s) pull a wagon carrying loads such as children, or they help with yard work by hauling lawn trash, bricks, etc. This skill is indespensible. I don't know what I would do without them to help me in the yard.

Dog Driving: The dog(s) pull a two wheeled sulky while the driver rides in the sulky. The dog is directed via voice and reins. This is a great form of transportation. It is also a great amusement. Both drivers and dogs enjoy driving. Many teams enjoy racing each other. This is my favorite activity.
Dillon
Dog Scootering: The dog(s) pull a two wheeled scooter. There are no shafts. Instead the dog(s) are attached to a tugline. This is an easy fun way to do dog draughting. The scooter is easy to carry in the car, and all that s needed otherwise is a tugline and harness. You can also help the dog go uphill so it is a good choice for hilly areas.

Bikejoring: The dog(s) pull a bicycle. There are no shafts. Instead the dog(s) are attached to a tugline. This is an easy fun way to do dog draughting. You can help the dog go uphill so it is a good choice for hilly areas.

There are also other ways. some people have their dog(s) pull them on rollerblades. Of course mushing (sledding) and skijoring (being pulled by your dog on skis) are popular winter sports.
This is a fun way to spend time with your dog, and get excercise too. It is useful, and productive. Maybe this is the solution to rising gas prices! Most dogs love it!
